Immovable Faith

Loss....... there's that word again; one I can never quite seem to get away from. Whether you feel affected in your own life or you know someone who is struggling to understand the why's, this subject remains a universal reality. Even when I try to distance myself from it, I forever hear the calling of the empty souls who need a word of hope........

Contrary to our human understanding, we often lose something in order to gain even much more in return. It is a principle of a kingdom, a kingdom of spiritual proportions and one not measured by our earthly, limited minds. Redemption was put in place in order to rectify and restore our souls to wholeness after the realities of life hit.  What we make of the opportunity and how we recover is key.......

The Book of Job is a classic example of suffering with seemingly no sense; a somewhat simplistic man and his family who were tested beyond reason.

Perhaps you can relate; I know I can........

What I see in his incredible life story is that even though he may have lost just about everything: family, faith in many things, his "farm", business, and was crushed beyond repair, he kept his "integrity."

In studying out this word, I have come to understand it to mean that Job, this ordinary, upright man, may have lost it all, but he did not lose himself! He remained intact; he remained whole.......

Holding on when you lack hope is the key.... and those keys will be forthcoming....

Isaiah 22:22: "I will place on his shoulder the key of David... what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I will drive him like a peg into a firm place....."

Immovable Faith.
