Coming up for air.

Everyday is a decision. Everyday is a privilege. Perhaps facing life or death situations gives one a good grasp on how empty, or empowering, these words can be.

I learned very quickly how the cycle of life comes and goes, like an ebb and tide of the ocean. We go in and out of these waves in time, where there are pockets of air to rise up and take a breath. Or let ourselves drown in sorrows........

After a lot of work, tonight I am celebrating the fact that within these jam packed, just about 4 years of constant motion and new found freedom, I was able to pen my thoughts...... in a first book, soon to be released.

I will truly begin to come up for air and take a deep breath to embrace...

Going forward, I plan to put more time into my blog, to expand a new community and reach out to a broader sphere. You may see more of my blog links being posted here, and I hope you will follow me as I venture into "taking more territory'. ‪#‎mybook‬

Life should be celebrated, not simply endured. Too many people live in the latter. God knows my hopes, dreams, and plans and i love to see His unfold for my life. Patient endurance is not to be diminished, and God knows I have grown in this area.........

Months prior to my late husband's passing he shared a verse with me, and one that says "this requires patient endurance on the part of the saints." Little did I realize, those two words would be two of the most important ones I could hear before he took his last breath.........

And I am now walking them out. Goodnight.
